The Electronic Quality of Inquiry Protocol (EQUIP) provides a powerful guide for assessing the quantity and quality of inquiry instruction being implemented by in science and mathematics classrooms. EQUIP is used by teachers to assess their own practice, by instructional leaders to determine instructional effectiveness, and by researchers and project directors to determine program effectiveness.
